Regional Director, Skilled Nursing Sales and Marketing

HDG

This is a Full-time position in Minneapolis, MN posted February 18, 2021.

• Develop and/or support effective sales and marketing strategic plans for each community, working collaboratively with senior and regional leadership and corporate marketing team n
• Identify, explore, research, execute, and/or advise on potential new strategic partnerships with acute and post-acute providers (home health, hospice, and non-medical providers) or other strategic relationships within each community market n
• Develop, monitor, communicate, oversee and/or drive results of sales and marketing scorecard to owners and senior leadershipn
• Develop, implement and educate on effective community sales and marketing processes, toolkits, and resources, including referral, admissions process, room readiness, 72-hour meeting process, Medicare/managed care meetings, sales tools, etc.

• Serve as a subject matter expert to and develop strong relationships with onsite managed community sales and marketing staff to ensure effective implementation of sales and marketing strategic plansn
• Lead, oversee, and serve as the primary client relationship manager for all sales and marketing activities for new HDG managed senior care communities during management transitionn
• Work closely with HDG corporate marketing, communications, digital and social media team in strategy development and executionn
• Build census levels to meet pro forma occupancy goals during management transition n
• Oversee interim and/or permanent sales representative/RN community liaison n
• Plan new communities’ sales and marketing budgets within approved guidelines and according to company policies and proceduresn
• Coordinate, lead, and attend marketing and public relations in-person and/or virtual events with the developer and owner/management company representatives and other assigned communitiesn
• Identifies service lines (e.g., clinical pathways, specific diagnostic management); program (e.g., dementia); or product (e.g., renovation) opportunity within established communities.

Works with managed communities to design and implement sales strategy to support new business linesn n Qualifications n nBachelor’s degree in health care, business or related field; graduate degree, preferredn nMinimum of 10 years of health care consulting or business development, marketing and sales operations experience serving health system, post-acute and/or long-term care provider clientsn nProven ability to sell professional servicesn nStrong leadership skills and the ability to effectively coach, motivate, and develop othersn nAbility to develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, colleagues, employees and contractorsn nAdherence to HDG’s values of hospitality, stewardship, integrity, respect and humorn nAbility to view the business from the bigger picture perspectiven nExcellent problem resolution skills and decision making abilityn nExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skillsn nComputer proficiency in Microsoft Officen nAbility to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesn nAbility to work independently, as well as with others in a deadline-driven environmentn nAbility to select a course of action and consider appropriate variables and possible risksn nAbility to maintain confidential informationn nAbility to travel up to 50%n n Additional Information n nWe are a values driven organization and offer a competitive wage and benefit package.
