Business Development Representative

Hercules OEM Group

This is a Full-time position in Burnsville, MN posted July 16, 2021.

Position Summary

As Business Development Representative you would build target areas beyond the current customer base in order to grow the Hercules OEM business.



Duties and Responsibilities


·        Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and sales opportunities

·        Contact potential customers through cold calls and emails

·        Present Hercules OEM to potential customers

·        Proactively see new business opportunities in the market

·        Work closely with Regional Account Managers regarding existing and potential new business

·        Analyze market reports to determine where to seek new business

·        Maintain growth in your market area

·        Prepare and present presentation representing Hercules OEM and why we should be the supplier of choice

·        Learn and stay up-to-date on product line


Education, Skills and Responsibilities


·        Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.

Preferred MBA.

·        Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience in solutions selling and marketing. 

·        Ability to identify and expand new markets. 

·        Ability to connect and sell solutions to key leaders in engineering, purchasing and other influential leaders to establish new business for Hercules OEM industrial products.

·        Strong presentation, analytical, interpersonal and business relationship building skills.

·        Experience in establishing industrial partnerships and distribution channels

·        Strong technical background with an ability to engage in technical discussions with customers/partners

·        Analytical Skills
– Ability to use data to make sound sales and marketing decisions.

·        Travel required
– 30-50% or as needed to other locations nationwide.
