Job Description

Razor Sharp Digital, a human marketing digital agency is looking for a rock star sales individual to join our team.

Are you a self-starter, avid networker, relationship builder, and have a neck for digital marketing?

The Director of Sales & Business Development will play a factorial role in helping generate new business for the brand with a focus on digital marketing services (Social Media, Content Marketing, SEO, Pay-Per-Click, Website Development, and more).

This individual will drive the inbound lead generation process including prospecting, forging of new alliances, and qualifying of prospects.

The Director of Sales & Business Development will also oversee the acquisition process through contract signing and strategies for new business development.

The ideal candidate should uphold strong problem solving skills, high-energy, motivation, and the will to succeed.

The ability to possess excellent read of client needs, goals, and objectives is of utmost importance.

Candidates should be able to display strategic thinking capabilities in all facets of digital marketing.

They should also be able to forge new conversations with small to medium-size companies.

This includes both B2B and B2C organizations.

The ideal person should be focused on long-term growth both for the brand and their position within the company.

This position will report directly to the Chief Human Officer.

Responsibilities
Help forge new conversations with prospective clients.

Identify specific needs, goals, and objectives of new prospects.

Drive the entire acquisition process all-the-way through contract signing.

Analyze existing client needs and identify untapped opportunities.

Discover and channel new business opportunities.

Create enticing proposals and respond to RFPs.

Skills and Experience
MBA or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

3-5 years experience in sales.

Proven track record of digital marketing experience and new client acquisition.

Display of personal/team goal achievements and quotas met in previous gigs.

Capable of qualifying sales leads, developing, and building new relationships.

Agile in understanding and presenting specific agency solutions to prospective clients.

Able to work in an agency oriented atmosphere and virtual environments.

Abreast with all latest facets of digital marketing practices, trends, and behaviors in the marketplace.

Technologically enthused and personally web savvy is a huge plus.

Sense of humor, strong drive, dedication, and commitment to goals.
