PMO Manager acts as a critical member of the Urology and Pelvic Health Pogram Management Office (PMO) leadership team that will build a team to drive maturity of the PMO processes and standards.* This position is focused primarily on business process transformation initiatives which differs from a typical project manager’s role, which focuses primarily on execution of tasks and activities through tactical management of scope, time and cost.* This position is focused on delivering business outcomes and must have the expertise and leadership to be able to manage through the political landscape of an organization.* We are looking for someone who can* Bridge the gap between strategy and execution* Innovate and challenge status quo* Develop and/or enhance our resource management, budget management, timeline management, and project performance management systems to help us manage our projects more efficiently.* Bring value to our division with a strong training and education solution for project management.* This is a great opportunity to take on a dynamic leadership role, to build a team over time, in an exciting business unit that is experiencing rapid growth and change.Your responsibilities include:* Program Management Office (PMO) processes and standard practices* Enhance templates, standards, and best practices for the PMO and program and project managers.* Subject matter expert for resource, budget, project performance databases.

Train project managers to independently manage their projects within the system.* Act as liaison between product development/sustaining project leaders, the project management office (PMO), and executive leadership to monitor and report on overall performance of project portfolio across key performance metrics.* Program & Project Performance* Develop monthly/quarterly reporting of results and metrics, and continued refinement and improvement of metrics for tracking of project/portfolio performance.* Maintain and track program performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques identifying and ensuring action on program issues.* Gather, document, evaluate lessons learned from projects and programs including industry best practices.* Portfolio Management* Lead annual operating planning process and quarterly portfolio budgeting cycles, with visibility/accountability to functional and executive leadership.* Act as liaison between project leaders and functional managers to enable resource allocation/charging to projects as needed* Optimize portfolio project prioritization based on resource pool and funds available.* Communication & Change Management* Develop and gain agreement on project and program objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility.* Lead the updating of our PMO and Franchise SharePoint sites to drive optimal push/pull communication and drive a one-source-of-truth mindset.* Training & Education* Provide coaching and training to division-wide project managers to develop improved project management capabilities* Provide coaching and training for non-project managers to develop basic project management skillsWhat we’re looking for in you:* Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Project Management, Finance/Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Engineering* 7+ Years experience in a progressive career path as a Project Manager or Program Manager in a technology-based business* Experience using budgeting and resource allocation systems and databases* Demonstrated data analysis/reporting, and problem-solving skills* Demonstrated experience in change management in a highly matrixed organization* Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills* Proficient in Office 365 Tools: SharePoint, Planner, Teams,* Proficient in standard office software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint* Possess a strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement and drive to exceed expectations* 3+ years of experience in the Medical Device or other technical project focused environment preferred* Demonstrated experience in portfolio, resource, and budget management preferred* Data analytics experience and the ability to create new and/or modify existing database applications is a significant plus.* Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
